YEADON is preparing to rock - with a fundraising gig in support of Help for Heroes.

The very best pop and rock tunes will be brought to the stage of Yeadon Town Hall to raise funds for the charity.

Total Productions will perform in the town for one night only on Saturday, September 14 at 7.30pm, ready to raise the roof with hits from Queen, David Bowie, Elton John, The Eagles and many more music legends.

A spokesperson said: “With a great combo of pop and rock tunes, there’s something for everyone. The incredible band of live musicians and vocalists will be sure to get the crowd going with irresistible sing-alongs, catchy choruses and power ballads.

“The show will fundraise in support of Help For Heroes, a British charity that aims to provide lifelong support to Service Personnel and Military Veterans. Rock For Heroes is a show the whole community can get behind as it helps to raise money for a great cause and provides fantastic local entertainment.”

Other entertainment at Yeadon Town Hall this September include The Carole King Songbook.

The show, which enjoyed a successful world premiere at Yeadon Town Hall in June followed by a UK tour, has been described as a ‘high energy romp through the songbook of one of the great songwriters’.

It will be back in Yeadon, again at the Town Hall, for one night only on Friday, September 27.

Featuring concert-style production, The Carole King Songbook sees the cast perform some of the songwriter’s most famous hits as well as songs she wrote for other artists, including The Drifters.The show also includes other great tunes from the era to treat audiences to a full night of musical classics.
