AN “UNMISSABLE” line-up of shows will be staged at Yeadon Town Hall in June.
The programme of events, including live music, quizzes and a world premiere, has been developed to appeal to all
demographics.
Music lovers will be able to experience songs from classic
eras of both the 60s and 80s, and a premiere of The Carole King Songbook will be staged. Yeadon Cinema Club will host its first screening, showing Bohemian Rhapsody, and a pub quiz will be staged at the Town Hall Tavern.
Sounds of the 60s with The Zoots brings the finest songs of the era to Yeadon Town Hall, including classic hits from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and Led Zeppelin.The show will take place at 7.30pm on Friday, June 7. Tickets cost £16.
The Carole King Songbook stars a cast of local talent including Eve Kitchingman, Kara Mottram, Thomas Lillywhite and Danny Dixon. The show celebrates the musical genius of Carole King, with performances of all her greatest hits including Y ou’ve Got A Friend, Beautiful and It Might As Well Rain Until September. It will take place at 7.30pm from Thursday, June 13 to Saturday, June 15. Tickets cost £10.
Bohemian Rhapsody will be shown at Yeadon Cinema Club at 2pm on Sunday, June 16. Tickets cost £5. The critically acclaimed film stars Rami Malek as the legendary Freddie Mercury.
The pub quiz, hosted by John Waite, will be held at 7.30pm on Friday, June 21. Tickets cost £2 per team.
Total 80s - A Celebration of a Generation! takes place at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 22, with tickets starting at £10.
