BEATLEMANIA arrives at Leeds City Varieties on February 28 more than 50 years after the Fab Four’s first hit.

The internationally-acclaimed tribute show will feature more than 40 of the classic songs by the Liverpudlian band.

A spokesman said: “Although they weren’t even born when their heroes were blazing a trail in the 60s, Beatlemania have managed to re-capture the spirit of the super-group with their energetic live shows.

“Featuring David Peterson as Paul McCartney, the line-up is completed by Rick Petch as George Harrison, Clark Gilmour as John Lennon and Joey Montague as Ringo Starr.”

The show features iconic Beatles songs with different costumes to represent the various eras.

Imitating the real group’s road to stardom, Beatlemania began in the pubs and clubs of the UK, and built on the success of those gigs to become one of the leading Beatles shows in the world.

Auto Pilot has been branded a prime example of the perfectly preened and poetic indie-pop that made Sean’s album Son Of The Smith such a success.

Manchester’s Larkins play their biggest headline tour to date, including a show at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club on February 28.

The recent single ‘Something Beautiful’, produced by Chris Zane, is said to highlight Larkins’ maturity and chemistry with its vibrant guitar lines and confident swagger.

The Line of Best Fit said Larkins played straight-laced indie pop filled with anthemic choruses and heartfelt lyricism is.
