THE Wharfedale Male Voice Choir, now in its 33rd year, has been busy presenting its winter programme throughout the area.
Their end of season programme began with concerts in Ilkley at the Audley Clevedon Retirement Village, courtesy of their event manager Angela Nicholson, and then on to Emmandjay Court by kind invitation of Helen Willets.
The end of the month will see them supporting the “Hug in a Tray” Hospital Charity at the Falcon Club in Otley.
The Choir sings a wide range of classics from the shows, entertaining solos, plus monologues and recitations.
During December they will be appearing at the Queen’s Hall in Burley-in-Wharfedale, followed by further concerts in Ilkley.
If you would like to join them on Monday afternoon’s from 2pm. to 4pm at the Roman Catholic Church Hall on Bradford Road, in Burley-in-Wharfedale, just ring their membership secretary Colin Banyard on 01943-968919 – and whilst an ability to read music is helpful, it is not a requirement.
