ASPIRING actors should avoid being late for an important date by remembering to get to auditions for Burley Theatre group’s next production.
The production will be classic children’s story Alice in Wonderland, at the Queen Hall, Burley-in-Wharfedale on June 10 to 13.
It is especially apt as it is 150 years this year since Lewis Carroll first wrote this tale, and the group aim to stay very close to the original story.
If you think you are a natural ‘queen of hearts’ or need no excuse to be ‘mad as a hatter’, the group welcomes you to auditions this month.
Auditions for adult parts take place on Tuesday and Wednesday in the Red Lion, Main Street, starting at 7.30pm.
Backstage help is always welcome as are any musicians too.
For further details contact Pam Leach on (01943) 864018, e-mail pamleach@hotmail.co.uk or visit the group’s website at burleytheatre.org.uk.
