The third concert in this very successful and exciting series saw The Kenwood-Herriott Duo, supported by the string section of Die Musicii II, provide a programme of musical items to suit a variety of tastes. Guest soloists were Martin Binks on the organ and Barry Collarbone on trumpet.
This was a feast of good music played well but many of the audience will treasure most Elizabeth Kenwood-Herriott's moving interpretation of Morricone's Gabriel's Oboe'.
The proceeds of this concert and the others in the series will go towards the Grove Vision Fund aimed at improving premises which will serve the needs of the local community into the future.
This concert received generous financial support from Cards Etc and from North Leeds Independent Book Store, both of Town Street, Horsforth.
The next concert in the series is on Sunday, February 25, at 3pm and will be given by the Grove Methodist Church Choir, with the Kenwood-Herriott Duo and Die Musicii II.
