Burley Millennium Theatre Group's latest production starts tonight, Thursday, for three nights at the Queen's Hall.
They are staging Close Encounters of the Absurd Kind', or A Millennium Night's Dream', a really entertaining show.
Close Encounters' is scripted by local writers Yvette Huddleston and Walter Swan and is billed as a comedy/musical/flight of fantasy featuring the music of the Sixties.
The show (which bears a striking resemblance to A Midsummer Night's Dream') is suitable for children aged eight and above and adults of any age!
In the cast are: Sasha Hill, Jo Clayton, Rachel Vernelle, Zoe Gill, Kathy Jackman, Rob Leach, Finlay Swan, Sue Singleton, Philomena Atkinson, Jo Robinson, Digby Singleton, Judith Charnley and John Wise.
Tickets are priced at £4 and £6. The performance takes place in the round' so seating is limited.
