ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BROADSTONE WAY TONG BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 721) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas mains works proposed to be executed on or near Broadstone Way, Tong intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Broadstone Way, Tong from its junction with Tong Street to its junction with Broadfield Close.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Broadstone Way (unaffected section), Cordingley Street, Joseph Street, Holme Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 31st July 2017 and remain in force until 12th August 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 18th day of July 2017
