ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

WAKEFIELD ROAD (SLIP ROAD) BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 1039) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Wakefield Road (slip road), Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Wakefield Road (slip road) from its junction with Rooley Lane to its junction with Teasdale Street.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Sticker Lane, Laisterdyke, Leeds Road, Shipley Airedale Road, Wakefield Road (unaffected section).

The proposed Order will come into effect between 19:00 hours and 21:30 hours on 1st July 2019 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 20th day of June 2019
