BROWN Robert (Fergie) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Fergie) Brown on December 29, at home with his family, aged 87 years. He leaves behind his beloved wife Pat and loving children Tony, Simon, Louise and Andrew. He lived a great and full life and spent many happy years at Otley RUFC and more recently at Cookridge Hall Golf Club. he ran a successful family clothing business H.E and F.J Brown for over 35 years and built a reputation for being tough but fair. He had a great love of life and spent many happy hours snow skiing in the Alps and water skiing on Lake Windermere. He will be sadly missed by all. The funeral will be held at Adel Church at 11.45am, followed by Rawdon Crematorium on January 26. Attendance at the service is by invitation only due to Covid restrictions, but anyone wishing to attend in the church grounds are welcome but must respect social distancing. Any donations in memory of Fergie to be made to The British Heart Foundation.
