ASHLEY Margaret Jean Aged 85, sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 21, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Beloved wife to Alwyn and loving mother to John, Martin and Janine. She was also a loving grandmother to Emma, Laura, Lewis, Madeleine and Megan. Alwyn and Margaret were the Mayor and Mayoress of Otley when it twinned with Montereau, France during 1980/81. She will be sadly missed. Donations can be sent to the Parkinson's Society.

I send my heartfelt condolences to all Margaret's family. I have known Margaret for only 11 years but during this time we were good friends and enjoyed some Sunday lunches together in the earlier years. You will be missed my dear friend, but now you are an angel 😇 so fly high and rest in peace, with love from Brenda 🌹 💕
