ANNING Paul Richard Died Airedale Hospital on May 17. Beloved husband and best friend of Lisa and much loved father of Sophie. He will be greatly missed by all who new him. Private Cremation. Memorial later. Enquiries to H Eaton and Sons.

I first met Mr Anning in the shop but subsequently also at the Clarke Foley centre where he volunteered on a Tuesday morning. We always had a little joking laugh each week and sometimes, Mrs Anning, you were there too.
Despite a similarity in our ages I always called him Mr Anning as a mark of respect.
I will not be able to be present to show my respects as the cortège travels along The Grove as I am already going to another funeral.
But my thoughts will be with you.
