Sir Michael Caine admitted he has Googled his own name
Sir Michael Caine has revealed he loves doing Google searches.
The 79-year-old star, who reprises his role as Bruce Wayne's butler Alfred Pennyworth in The Dark Knight Rises, often checks the internet to boost his knowledge.
"I'm a Google freak. I like to know everything. I always thought of myself as a know-it-all and of course I knew nothing really," he said.
"Now we've got Google and we know everything. You can even spell it wrong and they make it right. So I'm a very happy man."
Sir Michael - who previously worked with Christopher Nolan in Inception and The Prestige - admitted he has even searched for his own name.
"I Googled myself once out of curiosity, and there were seven and a half million sites, and I thought, 'What the hell are they saying'? I gave up after two," he joked.
The actor revealed he has loved being a part of Christopher's Batman trilogy because of the amazing cast, including Christian Bale as Batman, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox and Gary Oldman as policeman James Gordon.
"I can't work with bad actors. If you work with great actors, you remember all your lines. It's been absolutely wondrous for me, the happiest thing that ever happened to me when he walked through the door with that script," he said.
But he quipped that he was stuck on set in London: "They had a lot of money on this movie but not quite enough to take me to Florence!"
