JAKE Young bagged a hat-trick for Guiseley Academy in an emphatic 7-0 win over Farsley Celtic and that result means that the team have two games remaining in their quest to lift the National League Youth Alliance J Division regional title.
Today, they entertain Rochdale at Ben Rhydding Sports Club, Ilkley, with a 2pm kick-off and they return there next Monday at 2pm to take on South Shields, who they have vied with throughout the season for the top spot.
Monday's comprehensive win at Farsley took the Guiseley side back to the top of the table and past the 100 goal mark for the season.
In that 7-0 thrashing, there were two goals from leading scorer Kayle Price and one each for Tabish Hussain and Luke Hogg.
The current league table shows them top of the table on goal difference from FC Halifax Town, but Town have played a game more than Guiseley.
