Guiseley have confirmed that they will be playing newly-promoted League One side Doncaster Rovers in a pre-season friendly.
Darren Ferguson's side will face the Lions at Nethermoor on Saturday, July 22.
Guiseley's assistant manager David Penney managed Doncaster for five seasons and took them from the old Conference to the Footballl League via the play-offs in 2003. They followed up by winningthe old Division Two at the first attempt.
In 2005-6 Penney oversaw Doncaster wins over Premier League sides Manchester City and Aston Villa in the League Cup before they lost out in the quarter-finals on penalties to Arsenal.
Penney then left the club in August 2006 feeling that he had taken them as far as he could.
Guiseley will entertain another of Penney's old clubs when Darlington visit Nethermoor on Saturday, July 29 (3pm).
The Lions have already confirmed they will play Championship side Barnsley at Nethermoor on Tuesday, July 11 (7.30pm) and visit Northern Counties East Premier side Handsworth Parramore (at Worksop) on Tuesday, July 25 (7.45pm).
Guiseley have not as yet set an admission price for their pre-season friendlies.
