SALTS will pick up the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division trophy tomorrow night [Wednesday] before their home game with Steeton, despite not playing on Saturday against Wibsey.

The Bradford club, who had team members playing cricket and rugby league, were unable to raise a team.

The unfulfilled fixture will be ruled on at the next meeting of the league's management committee, but the normal custom is to follow the FA Standard Code of Rules and award three points to the opponents.

While Salts were left kicking their heels, their title rivals Golcar United were heading for all three points at Steeton.

Ryan John and Alex Hallam gave the Huddersfield visitors the advantage, although Ben Clarkson reduced the deficit before half-time.

Golcar held their advantage until the final two minutes when Josh Eastwood equalised and then Andy Briggs snatched the points away from Golcar with a last-minute goal to give Steeton a 3-2 win, meaning that United could finish no higher than second.

Littletown were also left without a game when Britannia Sports failed to raise a team for their trip to Heckmondwike.

Lepton Highlanders' ground was unfit for their game against Lower Hopton, so switched their game to their opponents' ground in Mirfield.

Lepton took a two-goal lead in the first half, with Ben Bowstead and James Cusworth scoring, only for Hopton to equalise in the second half through Bob Evans and Stefan Jon to rescue a point.

Campion Reserves ran in five second-half goals against Wakefield City on Friday without reply, with Chris Helliwell, Matthias Britton, Carl Trennery, Jordan Hagyard and Josh Finan scoring.

West Horton and Golcar United Reserves will contest the final of the Division One Cup.

West Horton had to come from 4-0 down at home to Overthorpe Sports Club to squeeze through 6-5, with

Ben McCardle netting the semi-final winner in the final minute.

Earlier Kristian Angus (2), Elliott Brooke, Lewis Ward and an own goal scored for Overthorpe, with Shazad Hamed (2), Luke Chippendale, James Chadwick and Nathaniel Dacres replying to almost force extra-time.

Golcar United Reserves had Toby Farrington and Dominic Moorhouse on target in their 2-1 win over Steeton Reserves, with Andy Howland scoring the consolation.

The final will be played on Wednesday, May 16 at Lower Hopton (7pm).
