Care keen for a bigger taste of the action

| Danny Care |
DANNY Care stepped out as a second-half replacement for England in their win over the Barbarians at Twickenham on Sunday and it was one in the eye for the soccer coach who ditched him for being too small.
Adel raised scrum-half Care, 21, who was a pupil at Otley's Prince Henry's Grammar School, dreamed of banging in goals for the England soccer team as a youngster.
However, after three years with the Sheffield Wednesday Academy prolific scoring striker Care was told he was too small and was sidelined by the manager.
He asked to be released and returned to his first club Adel Juniors. He had started playing rugby as a six year-old with his local club West Park Bramhope and on seeing his professional football dream ended Care turned his attention back to rugby.
He played for the school teams throughout his time at Prince Henry's and joined Otley RUFC's U-16s before moving on to the Leeds Tykes Academy and the rest is history.
Having already played for England at Sevens and Saxons levels Care, who plays for NEC Harlequins, is now looking forward to being with the England party in New Zealand.
They will play two matches against the All Blacks on June 14 and 21.
Stuart Lancaster, coach at Leeds Carnegie who played a big role in Care's development as a player, said: "What will see Danny through is his temperament. He is composed under pressure, mentally resilient and has inner belief."
