New facilities at West Park RUFC
Construction work on the new £3.5 million clubhouse at the home of West Park Leeds Rugby Club at The Sycamores, Bramhope, is nearing completion with the hand over scheduled for early June.
Shortly afterwards work to demolish the old clubhouse will commence. The outside improvements to the infrastructure including additional car parking will be completed during the summer.
An official opening event will be announced for later in the summer.
The new clubhouse will provide ten en suite dressing rooms, complete with gymnasium and medical rooms on the ground floor. On the first floor members will be able to enjoy a drink, share a meal or simply relax in the pleasant surroundings.
An office suite will provide all the technology needed to run a modern sports club.
West Park Leeds runs junior rugby teams for each age group from Under-7s upwards as well as three open age teams. It's first team competes in Yorkshire Division 3. A new section for U-15s and U-18s girls has recently been formed.
New members are always welcome, including players of all standards and abilities or those who would just like to join as social members to enjoy the fantastic facilities.
The new clubhouse will provide a splendid amenity for the local community and local residents are invited to call to view the facilities during normal opening hours. For further information visit www.westparkleeds.co.uk
