THERE are new leaders in Group B of the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League.

Yorkshire Friends are the front-runners, despite Mayfield scoring 224-9 (Nazakat Ali 74, Abid Hussain 50).

Zeeshan Kazmi took 6-42 and then almost saw Friends home by scoring 138, Mohammed Adnan making an unbeaten 55 as they they triumphed by eight wickets in just 25 overs.

Salem Athletic have moved into second after beating Hallfield by 104 runs.

Athletic scored 287-8, with Hafiz Rahman (92) and Sabir Khan (73) sharing a fourth-wicket partnership of 131 as Hassan Mughal took 4-46.

Hallfield were then all out for 183 with four balls to spare, with skipper Chandaan Sharma scoring 63 and Ebrahim Mutavalli 46, Raheem Soomro taking 4-28 for Salem, inlcuding two wickets in the last over.

Parkside are up to fourth after making 166 (Mohammed Saghir 4-13) and beating Girlington by 36 runs.

Akhtar Mahmood scored 70 out of for Bowling Baptists' 133 (Abdul Wahab 5-19) but ended up on the losing side as Great Horton Church, who were sent in, made 157 (Vijay Chauhan 46).

Meanwhile, Cambing are off the mark, beating Bradford Gymkhana by 16 runs.

Cambing made 172 (Umar Zaman 46, Mubashir Ahmed 44) and held Gymkhana to 156 (Nadeem Aslam 55, Hubab Ali 5-22).

Interlink remain top of Group A after beating Bradford Moor by six wickets.

Masroor Ahmed (47) top scored in Moor's 120, Interlink replying with 126-4 (Irfan Jamadar 66).

Second-placed Omars maintained the pressure by easily defeating Apperley Bridge.

Bridge made 133 in 28.2 overs (Miraj Khan 41), Omars replying with 138-1 in 17.2 overs, Naeem Iqbal making 67.

Girlington remain fourth after making 223 (Manzar Naqvi 53, Mushtaq Hussain 46) and then restricting Yorkshire LPS to 152 (Musawar Shah 4-28, Farhad Raja 4-48).

Shezad Khalid was the main man for Bradford Gymkhana, taking 4-13 in Hallfield's 164-9 (Shujah Khan 61, Shahid Mahmood 42) and then scoring 56, Babar Hafeez adding 43 as they won by six wickets in 29 overs.

Allerton could not cope with Mohammed Azam's bowling.

He took 5-20 as they were rolled over for 59 in reply to Great Horton Church's 163 (Meseum Nisar 56, Mohammed Zahid 43, Azhar Ali 4-60).

Bradford Moor won the toss and batted in Group C, but were dismissed for 77 (Nakash Mirza 5-10) by leaders Cambing B, who triumphed by seven wickets.

TABS are up to second after defeating Salem Athletic by two wickets in a low-scoring clash. Salem made 56 (Umair Ali Khan 6-19), TABS replying with 57-8.

Denholme Clough are third after making only 34 against Mayfield, who had scored 155 (Waqas Ali 5-36).

Bradford Indians are up to fourth after a ten-run victory over Mandhata.

Indians made 135 (Imran Kuseji 54) in 39 overs, Mandhata making 125 (Pritesh Patel 45).

More comfortable was Bowling Baptists' victory over Great Horton Meths.

Baptists, buoyed by an opening stand of 123 between Asim Shafiq (54) and Zahid Hussain (48), made 239-8 before Meths were back in the pavilion for 89 (Dan Jackson 43, S Bashir 5-24).

Greenfield remain top of Group D after Yorkshire LPS B were unable to raise a team.

Muff Field A (205-9, Kieran Heptinstall 4-28) remain second after beating Great Horton Meths, who were dismissed for 90, despite Matt Healy scoring 62, with deadly Frank Powell taking 5-7.

Allerton, who made 284-6 (Sohail Shah 109, Kamran Raza 43, Touseef Ahmed 5-30) were denied an outright win by Muff Field B, who replied with a spirited 224-8 (Touseef Ahmed 50).

West Bowling beat Central YMCA by 61 runs after being put in and scoring 172-4 (Ashley Carter 56no, Chris Carter 43).

YMCA were dismissed for 111 (Haroon Hussain 5-23) in 111.
