Forrest Hamilton was in devastating form as last season’s beaten finalists Ben Rhydding bowled over Guiseley in their first-round tie.

Hamilton took 6-20 as Guiseley were dismissed for 95 in reply to Ben Rhydding’s total of 144-8.

Chris Wynd (53) and Red Bolton (34) put on 58 for the fourth wicket.

Nick Brook followed up Saturday’s unbeaten half century with 120no and enjoyed a third-wicket stand of 138 with Ed Brown (74) as Burley raced to 248-5.

Jamal took 3-1 and with help from Andy Stothart (3-37), bowled out Woodhouse for 123.

Thackley reached their target with seven wickets in hand as Yasser Ali (47) and Chris Luxton (38no) led the way.
