THERE was another great turnout for Otley AC’s juniors at the second West Yorkshire Cross Country League meeting at Nunroyd Park.
In the under-15age group both Holly Davey and Jenson Brogden ran strongly to finish 25 and 27th in their respective races.
Charlotte Rawstron led the Otley challenge for the under-13s as she finished in 23rd place ahead of Sadie Bentham and Amelie Garnett. George Chambers was the sole Otley runner in the boys’ event completing the tough course in 17:10.
There were six girls in the under-11s race who were led home by Charlotte Chambers who finished 17th place on her birthday.
Jessica Rawstron, Emily Gascoyne, Kitty Quinn, Ellie Hinton and Jessica Kelly were Otley’s other under-11 girls.
The under-11 boys had some fantastic results with Aston Brogden, Oscar Lunn and Ned Gallagher-Thompson all running hard to finish in the top 20. Alfie Milner completed the Otley contingent with a strong run to finish in 7mins 34secs.
