OTLEY Golf Club's new ladies captain Pat Harrison defied a broken arm to take part in the Sunday's captains' drive in.
Despite her injury, she joined men's captain Brian Wilkinson and junior captain Alex Harm on the tee on Sunday.
Harrison used her good arm to hit an impressive shot as a good number of members, family and friends watched in glorious sunshine before joining the new captains for lunch
Wilkinson struck a handsome drive while Harm, hit a cracker a long way down the middle of the fairway.
The appointment of the captains followed the annual meeting when John Beaumont was elected as president.
