Pool skier Lucas Ellis wins British title
ELEVEN-year-old Lucas Ellis is making a big impression on Europe's ski slopes.
The Pool-in-Wharfedale youngsters followed up his win in the English Alpine Championships in Italy by striking gold against when the British Championships were held at Tignes in France.
Ellis is now hoping to be tested for the England Alpine squad this summer as he looks to continue his impressive progress.
Otley's Prince Henry's Grammar School have supported Ellis in his quest for honours. They have allowed him to carry on his studies at a school in Austria so that he can train and race abroad.
