"With this country having the most stringent karate grading system in the world it makes me very proud, after a study period of over 20 years, to see two of our senior instructors in the top tier of

England karate as 5th degree black belts”.

The Otley Karate Centre is offering a four lesson introductory course for beginners next month. ll lessons are held at the URC Bridge Street Church Hall in Otley every Friday and start at 6.30pm

Sensei Gee said: “We are one of the top karate schools in England and pride ourselves on the quality of our tuition at all levels, from beginner to black belt. We have tailor made classes for all age groups, including one specifically designed for 6 -11 year olds.

"Our new beginners class is about helping anyone with a desire to get fit through karate but who may have doubts about their ability, or how to even start. The emphasis is very much on how to enjoy it and we cater for anyone."
