OTLEY'S Danielle Bailey has broken a 22-year-old British Paralympic record.
In the multi-classification event at the National Age Group and Youth Championships at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, the City of Bradford member took almost three seconds of the category four 50 metres freestyle, clocking 1min 02.32sec.
She also finished first in the 50m breaststroke and backstroke and 150m individual medley events, and her time of 1min 24.13sec in the breaststroke was another personal best.
Danielle, who was one of four City members to qualify for the highly-competitive meetings, trains on Bradford Council's in the Leisure Services Aquatic Competition Programme under head coach Andy Pearce and development coach Sarah Fisher
