Guiseley Cricket Club are taking on England.
The Aire-Wharfe League club will face a team of England Legends in a Twenty20 match at Nethermoor Park on Tuesday, July 31 (4pm).
Confirmed for the England team so far are former Yorkshire all-rounder Craig White, Neil Fairbrother, Paul Nixon, Dominic Cork, Dean Headley, Devon Malcolm and Gladstone Small.
The match is in aid of club funds – they need to replace their artificial nets – as well as Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Stroke Association.
There will be a four-course gala lunch (12.30pm) befor the match in a marquee, with impressionist Kevin Connelly the guest speaker.
There will also be a question-and-answer session with the England players, plus an auction and a raffle, and afterwards there will be a live band (8pm).
Tables of ten for the lunch, are £1,000 to include an England Legend player or £800 without.
The aim is to have 50 tables and therefore 500 people, and 20 tables have already been sold.
Aire-Wharfe clubs that have booked a table will have a player entered into a draw from which one will be picked to play against the Legends.
