Guiseley rower Debbie Flood will contest the women's quadruple scull at next week's World Rowing Championships at Lake Karapiro in New Zealand.
Flood has battled back into contention for this strong medal-chance Great Britain boat after a taking a year out to complete her probationary training with the Prison Service. It means she is back in the boat in which she won silver medals at both the Athens and Beijing Olympic Games. The final of the women's quadruple scull is on Saturday, November 6.
The World Championships are the culmination of the 2010 rowing season and were preceded by the three world cup events that were held in Europe over the summer.
