GUISELEY'S Debbie Flood was named yesterday in the womens Quadruple scull team for the opening World Cup in Munich next week.
She joins Katherine Grainger, Frances Houghton and Annie Vernon in the Camelot-backed four for the first of three World Cup events.
The other two are in Lucerne and Poznan in May and June, respectively.
Debbie was part of the Great Britain crew which won a silver medal in the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004.
"Without doubt, the main aim of this year will be bringing back the first ever Olympic Gold medal for the Great Britain women's squad," said Grainger.
"Germany has traditionally dominated our event ever since its creation and so are always a powerful force to be reckoned with.
"But this year China will prove to be a huge rival as they will have so much pride in their home Olynpics. I would expect to see them putting out some strong crews in the World Cup."
