STRIKER Gavin Knight has returned to Nethermoor for the Guiseley club's final push for a promotion play-off place.
Knight was famously shunted out of the door on loan to Lincoln by manager Steve Kittrick following what was said to be a derogatory text' sent by the Scunthorpe-based striker to a fellow team member.
Kittrick said: "What happened is now water under the bridge. Gavin has scored six goals in 12 games for Lincoln and as I have only two strikers I need him back for the final push. He gets a second bite at the cherry and it is now up to him. What has gone off before means nothing now, it is all about Guiseley Football Club, that is what matters."
Kittrick said he was looking for an improved performance at league leaders Witton Albion on Saturday after what he described as Guiseley's worst performance of the season' in the second-half of last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Hednesford."
"All games are big games now and we have to be up for it. All clubs have something to play for from top to bottom, it is Bradford City trainee Sean Taylforth, scorer of a vital equalising goal at Fleetwood, is expected to return after injury but there are doubts about former Manchester City midfielder Lee Crooks (hamstring, central defender James Cotterill (hamstring and ankle injury) and midfielder Lee Pugh (ingrowing toenail).
