AT last week’s Apperley Bridge Canter, a multi-terrain 10-kilometre run with some steep climbs and descents, Owain Gwilym led a good turnout from Airecentre Pacers, crossing the line in 41 minutes and 52 seconds.
Graeme Cowling was second Pacer home in 46.27 and was followed by Paul Grindley (47.52), Sally Haigh (49.17), Cathy Stothers (50.56), Gavin Birkett (51.57), and Nick Leathley (53.52).
Also running were: Izzy Hainsworth-Brear, Faye Cameron, Tasha Nishiyama, Rebecca Streets, Rachel Jovanovic, Amanda Connoley, Sharon Elms, Liz Cook and Dave Cook.
In the Wharfedale Half Marathon, Matt Tupling was the first Airecentre athlete to finish the route, in two hours, 10 minutes and 54 seconds.
Four other Pacers finished in under three hours, and they were: Denis Callaghan (2.43.44), Lynda Parkinson (2.47.11), Emma Williment (2.50.17) and Carole Keighley (2.55.37).
