WRENTHORPE'S Jonathan Rudge returned the stunning figures of 7-16 as his side bowled out Bowling Old Lane for 34 and wrapped up a nine-wicket win in an All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League match which lasted just 18.3 overs.

Rudge and Chris Leaf found the conditions at Birch Lane to their liking as they dismissed the home side in just 12.4 overs in Championship Division One.

Opener Jonathan Sleightholme was dismissed without a run on the board, but Wrenthorpe knocked off the runs they required to secure a 20-point haul in just 5.5 overs.

Unperturbed by Wrenthorpe's early success, joint leaders Scholes stormed to an emphatic nine-wicket win at Bankfoot.

Gareth Lee had Bankfoot in a spin with 6-15 as they were bowled out for 95, left-armer Christian Jackson backing him up with 3-24.

Sam Gatenby was out before a run had been scored but Scholes' two most consistent batsmen, Shoukat Ali (42no) and Akbar Badshah (40no), saw them home for another 20 points.

Undercliffe's outside promotion hopes suffered a big setback as they suffered a 72-run defeat against Baildon after being bowled out for 74.

Paceman Waqas Maqsood (3-20) and Mounam Ejaz (3-15) took the bowling honours for Baildon.

Ejaz had earlier made the game's top individual score of 43 in Baildon's 146.

Adam Frost enjoyed the chance to take the new ball for Undercliffe with 4-25.

Skipper Oliver Halliday paid the lead role as Morley secured a five-wicket win at Gomersal.

Halliday took 5-35 to back up the opening burst of Matthew Dowse (4-34) as Gomersal limped to 111 all out.

Halliday rounded off a good afternoon's work by making an unbeaten 32 to ensure that his side reached their target.

The Walmsley twins shared a sixth-wicket stand of 104 as promotion-chasing Methley kept the pressure on the top two with a four-wicket win at Yeadon.

Opener Marcus made 76 not out and Eddie 58 after their side had slipped to 77-5 in reply to Yeadon's 194. Alex Robinson was the pick of their bowlers with 3-43.

Yeadon's innings was built around fine half-centuries from Steve Simpson (82) and James Todd (56), Edward Walmsley's off spin earning him figures of 3-51.

Birstall hauled themselves off the bottom of the table with their second successive win.

They followed up their surprise victory over leaders Scholes with a 123-run success against Ossett.

The dependable Eric Austin was once again key to their success with 94, while Nick Kaye chipped in with 45 as Birstall made 218-8.

Spinner Khalid Usman opened the bowling for Ossett and took 4-36, while Maaiz Khan gave support with 4-61.

Ossett, despite 32 from opener Zubair Raje, never got going and were dismissed for 95.

Saif ur-Rehman (3-41), Haris Mohammad (3-20) and Craig Wood (3-25) did the damage.

Birstall's win lifts them above Bankfoot in the table.
