Guiseley have agreed terms with popular right-back Connor Brown for the new season.

The 25-year-old became a crowd favourite at Nethermoor last season after being released by Oldham Athletic.

He started his career with home town club Sheffield United as a junior in their Academy before signing a senior contract in the summer of 2011.

After failing to make the breakthrough into the first team he was released in the summer of 2012.

After leaving Bramall Lane Brown signed for Oldham Athletic making 29 appearances in his first season.

He was given a new contract but his appearances in his second season were rare so he joined Carlisle United on loan.

He played nine games before returning to Oldham but in August 2016 his contract was mutually terminated and Brown joined Guiseley in the National League.
