KIRSTEN Parker was the big winner as Pat Harrison’s Ladies’ Captain’s Day at Otley Golf Club finally beat the weather.

Postponed for a week following torrential rain, the event went ahead at the second attempt and proved to be a massive success.

Among the prize-winners were those who had competed in the competition on the Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.

And it was Parker who took the plaudits at the evening's presentation after winning the Ladies’ Captain’s main prize and the Mary Bell Trophy.

The Gents Am-Am produced some very competitive scoring particularly amongst the top three teams

Kevin Connolly enjoyed a productive week as he won the Midweek Stableford with 41 points and followed that UP with a second-placed finish in the Am-Am.

Paul Ridyard’s 39 points secured the runners-up berth in the midweek competition when he edged out Derek Goldie on a count-back.
