GUISELEY have confirmed that a total of eight players have been released from the squad which secured National League survival on the final day of the season.
The list includes strikers Adam Boyes and Jake Cassidy who have already joined Bradford Park Avenue and Hartlepool respectively.
Goalkeeper Dan Atkinson, who saved a penalty in the final-day 1-1 draw with Solihull Moors is among the players departing as manager Adam Lockwood refreshes his squad.
Two more strikers, Michael Rankine and Derek Asamoah have been let go along with wingers Luke Porritt and Joel Logan and utility player Jarvan Vidal.
Young winger Luke Porritt has been released but remains as a coach within the club's Community Foundation.
Other players released are wingers Joel Logan (who spent the latter part of the season on loan at FC Halifax Town), and Derek Asamoah along with utility player Javan Vidal.
