EASY victories were the order of the day in A Division of the Dales Council League.

At Daleside Road, Thornbury dismissed Bradford Moor for 114 before replying with 116-3 (Kaleem Afzal 52).

Meanwhile, at Tong, Halifax Direct scored 243 (Zubair Badat 91, Muhammad Chaand 57, Matt Botha 7-47), and then Mohammed Iqbal took 5-29 to help bowl out Farnley Hill for 135 to continue their winning run.

Woodhouse made 204 (Usman Shakir 56) at Meanwood Road and then, despite 71 from Ray Kerfoot, Cookridge were bowled out for 151, with Shakir adding 5-26 to his half-century.

Abid Hussain was again in the runs, making 84 of Caribbean’s 215-9 before they bowled out New Wortley for 137 at Scott Hall Oval.

At High Royds, Leeds Sikh scored 175 before Pritpal Saggu took 5-19 in Crompark’s 105.

In B Division, Drighlington made it two wins out of two after dismissing Pudsey St Lawrence for 142 at Fulneck, replying with 143-5.

Savile Stars could only make a modest 86 at Sands Lane, but Farsley struggled even more and could only reply with 69, with Nazam Arif taking 5-5.

At Gledhow, Leeds Sikh B scored 185-7, and then Karthaveeyaran Vinjamoori took 6-40 to help bowl out Thornbury B for 155, getting Sikh B off the mark.

Tawquir Ahmed's 67 was a large proportion of Baildon's 110 at Sandal, Gopal Makwana doing the damage with 6-26 before Ross Kettlewell scored an unbeaten 69 to see Pudsey Congs to a nine-wicket victory.

For the second week in a row, St Chad's Broomfield were the league top scorers, making 288 (Mohamed Shamir 138, Richard Hird 59, Nazmul Hasan 50) at Smithy Lane in C Division, which was far too much for Cookridge, who replied with 172.

At Salts Sports, Tong Park Esholt made 175 and then Matthew Skelton took over by taking 8-18, including the first hat-trick of the season, to rout Shipley Providence for 39.

Baildon B scored a modest 144 at Station Road, and then Aidan Dunne hit an unbeaten 68 to ease Drighlington B to a seven-wicket victory.
