OTLEY made a stunning start to their T20 DB Cup campaign by scoring 188 in just 14 overs to defeat Ben Rhydding by six wickets.
Big-hitting Chris Thompson (78) and James Davies (47) led the pursuit of Ben Rhydding's 183-8 which was built around the efforts of Luke Tinsley (60), Fraser Smith (40) and Robbie Miller (37no).
Olicanian came out on top in their derby clash with Ilkley. Steve Hepburn (36) and Sajad Ijaz (34) helped them to make 147-6 before bowling out Ilkley for 123.
Rob Spivey made an unbeaten 35 but couldn't save his team from defeat as Scott Sanderson took 4-22.
Addingham also got off to a winning start as they defeated Pool by six wickets. Sam Wilkinson top scored with 43 in Pool's 133-6 which Addingham passed in 17.4 overs with Ben Brearley making 41 not out.
