THE Addingham league and cup double-winning side of 20 years ago are coming out of retirement to take on the current team to raise funds for the club.

They went through the 1996 season unbeaten in the Craven League, scoring over 100 goals, and will be keen to preserve their standing as the club's best team ever.

The side, who beat Colne 3-0 in the League Cup final, came out of retirement back in 2006 and defeated the Addingham team of that year 4-1.

The game on Saturday, June 25 will kick off at 2.30pm at Stockinger Lane.
