OTLEY Tavern are still searching for their first Wharfedale Triangle Division One win after being held to a home draw.
Tavern took the lead midway through the first half with a superb strike 30-yard strike from Ben Palmer which flew into the top corner.
Tavern looked to stretch their lead throughout the first half but couldn't capitalise on having most of the possession.
Aire Valley came close to equalising when a shot struck a post, before Tavern quickly cleared the danger.
Tavern suffered a setback when Matthew Howarth suffered an ankle injury and had to be replaced by Alex Northeast.
The lead was lost midway through the second half when Danny Fahy was penalised for bringing down an Aire Valley player and Hamza Darr netted from the spot.
Both sides pressed for a winner in the closing stages. Aire Valley went closest with a shot which rattled the woodwork.
Tavern face early pacemakers Yeadon Athletic on Sunday.
