Otley Tavern FC 3 Cullingworth Youth FC 4
OTLEY Tavern had a hard-earned Wharfedale Triangle point snatched from their grasp by a last-gasp goal at Wharfemeadows.
It was cruel luck on striker Tom Fleming who had completed a hat-trick just minutes earlier
Cullingworth capitalised on a bad defensive error to take the lead but Tavern fought back with new signing Fleming's first goal.
A long ball caused uncertainty in the Tavern defence and a slip by Danny Fahy was seized upon by Cullingworth as they regained the lead.
Once again it was Fleming who brought his side back on level terms. He curled a 30-yard free kick into the net to make it 2-2 at half-time.
Cullingworth made a bright start to the second half and went ahead for the third time, only for Fleming to level again as he completed his treble.
A draw seemed likely until Cullingworth snatched all three points at the death.
