PRINCE Henry’s cyclists are the West Yorkshire School Games champions after their brilliant performance.
Jude Mason, Will Brown, Sam Dickinson, Megan Cullen and Sasha Kitching, all Year 9 pupils, cycled their way to victory, with individual achievements along the way.
Jude Mason achieved a silver medal and Sam Dickinson a bronze medal in their individual race and Megan Cullen achieved silver in her individual race.
Sarah Grant, head of the PE Faculty, said: “Cycling has been a growing sport at Prince Henry’s since our most famous alumnus, Lizzie Armitstead, first raised the bar. We are very proud of these students, who have acquitted themselves brilliantly. It was great to have our dance team opening the Games as well.”
