Hemsworth 15 Old Grovians 23
OLD Grovians survived two yellow cards to keep their perfect record for the season against hosts with a strong pack and experienced backs.
Fielding a side that was missing several regulars, winger Aaron Magee put the visitors ahead inside five minutes, hugging the touchline to score, but four minutes later Hemsworth had levelled at 5-5.
The home side went 8-5 in front either side of Grovians' two sin-binnings but conceded three penalties which led to Ben Weaving scoring a try for Grovians after 35 minutes.
Dion Hendricks was baulked either side of half-time, the second offence resulting in a yellow card for Hemsworth, and the visitors took advantage with Ben Brown's accurate kick resulting in a try for Adam Weaving.
The latter then converted a penalty to make it 18-8 and, after a period of stalemate, Hendricks dodged tackles on the wing to score Grovians' fourth try and secure the bonus point with ten minutes left, Hemsworth getting a converted try just before full-time.
