Wharfedale romped to a 64-5 friendly victory at Otley.
The hosts looked the more organised of the two teams early on and deservedly took the lead when good handling led to a score wide out left from Jack Scott Paul, which Stephen Depledge failed to convert.
But by half-time Wharfedale had done enough to score three tries and establish a good lead. Cameron Hudson, Willet and Harry Bullough getting the tries with Tom Davidson successful with three kicks.
Playing with the wind in the second half, Wharfedale began to dominate and play some fine rugby. Most noticeable was their ball handling skills and the support play needed to drive through Otley.
Davidson, Howard, Stockdale, Hudson, Altham, Jordan and James van Sertima all crossed, with Davidson adding four conversions.
Otley carried on competing until the final whistle and, with players to return from injury, will have gained a lot from this pre-season fixture.
