Scotland are having their referendum on independence in September.

But 'home rule' should come quicker at Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club.

All four top seeds for next week's $15,000 Futures Tournament are British, and 16 of the leading 18 are from these shores.

Leading the way is world No 316 David Rice, runner-up to Josh Goodall in 2010 and 2011, and world No 355 Ed Corrie, who lost to Goodall in the 2012 final.

Rice has already won tournaments in Sheffield and Turkey this year and played in the Wimbledon qualifying two weeks ago.

Local interest is again provided by the host club's performance coach Kyle Brassington, who has come out of retirement for the tournament.

Qualifying starts on Monday, with the main draw beginning on Wednesday, with finals day a week on Sunday (1.30pm).
