Rawdon’s 24year old Touring Car ace Sam Tordoff made some impressive laps of the Donington Park National Circuit in Derbyshire, Despite a dry start to team testing the rain began to fall and that restricted some teams’ running.

Tordoff, in his MG KX Momentum Racing MG6, completed 59 laps with a top speed of 99.72mph and a lap time of 1 min 11.441secs, only 0.354sec behind the top man who was last year's champ-ionship winner Andrew Jordon in his Honda Civic Tordoff made his Touring Car debut in 2010 competing in the final meeting of the season at Brands Hatch, driving a Vauxhall Vectra for Uniq Racing with Triple Eight where he finished 10th.

In 2013 he was the top rookie as he enjoyed a fine first season with MG KX Momentum Racing where he raced alongside team mate Jason Plato The highlight of Tordoff’s first season was his win at Snetterton.

Tordoff and MG KX Momentum Racing's first three races are at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit on March 29-30.
