Guiseley host Stockport County tomorrow night in the first of a double header, with the Lions journeying to Edgeley Park for the reverse fixture on Saturday.

The Skrill Conference North clash will be the first meeting of the two clubs, and the home side should be full of confidence when they host the former Football League outfit.

The Lions are above Stockport in the league and snatched a last-gasp stoppage time winner at the weekend.

While County were slipping to a defeat last Saturday, Nethermoor was euphoric as Kevin Holsgrove scored in the last of five added minutes.

Guiseley manager Mark Bower said: “We made it hard for ourselves against Vauxhall Motors because of our decisions in the final third.

"We should have scored more but it was another three points and meant we could look forward to Stockport’s visit.

“There were no obvious injuries but Jake Lawlor had to come off because he was feeling unwell.

"Jake should be all right but the lads had to put a real shift in to get the result last Saturday so we might need to freshen up the starting line-up.”

Silsden have a re-arranged fixture in the North West Counties League Premier Division and face a tough task.

The Cobbydalers head to Runcorn Linnets, who are bidding to go top. They are one point behind leaders Maine Road but have four games in hand.

Brighouse Town and Thackley are both in Northern Counties East League Cup fourth-round action.

They have all-Premier Division ties, with Town hosting Long Eaton United, while the Dennyboys travel to Heanor Town.
