Otley secretary Marc Lawrence has confirmed that they are appealing to the RFU
Otley have been deducted five SSE National League Two North League points for fielding unregistered player Alexander Beaumont against Harrogate on December 21.
Otley’s appeal to the NCA (National Clubs’ Association) was overturned but they are now appealing to the RFU, who feel have some culpability in the matter.
Otley’s secretary Marc Lawrence said: “We have 14 days to appeal, starting from Monday of this week.”
