Guiseley will bid to snap out of a three-match losing streak in the Conference North tonight, providing their Nethermoor pitch passes an afternoon inspection.

The Lions are due to host Harrogate Town in a West Yorkshire derby but the match is subject to a 3.30pm check.

The club stated that after liaising with the ground staff and the referee, and taking into account the weather forecast, they would undertake an inspection before their neighbours make the journey.

Guiseley did get a home game in, their first since before Christmas, at the weekend but the pitch cut up badly during their 1-0 defeat to Worcester City.

If the game does get the go- ahead the Lions are set for two games in two days as the previously-postponed West Riding County Cup semi-final at Eccleshill United has been rearranged for tomorrow.

Albion Sports are also due to be in league action tonight as they make the journey to struggling Lin-coln Moorlands Railway in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division.

Albion are another club looking for a break as they go into the game on the back of two defeats.

Brighouse Town host Long Eaton United in a League Cup third-round tie. Thackley were due to travel to Heanor Town in the same competition but the Derby-shire club have a county cup tie which takes priority.
