Keen shopper Sally Morris became the star of a store’s official opening when she was asked to cut the ribbon.
Sally, from Horsforth, had queued for one-and-a-quarter hours to be first in line for the opening of TK Maxx at Guiseley.
And her determination was rewarded not just with a £10 voucher but also with an invitation to play the central role in the ceremony.
The store was offering gift cards to its first 500 customers and 250 people were waiting when it opened its doors at 9am last Thursday.
Sally was the first in the queue, arriving at 7.45am.
