Horsforth set for new farmers' market

A monthly farmers’ market is being launched in Horsforth from October.
The market, which is being sponsored by Horsforth Churches Together, with the support of local councillors, will take place on Saturday, October 6, in the grounds of The Grove Church on Town Street.
The event, which runs from 9am to 12.30pm, will feature a wide range of stalls providing a variety of locally-produced foods in season including organic vegetables, meat, eggs, cakes and chocolate.
Future markets will be held on the first Saturday of every month in St Margaret’s School car park.
The markets are being launched as part of a series of Hope in Horsforth events being run by local churches.
