Work to fill potholes on two of Otley’s main roads will take place during the next few months.
Leeds City Council, which has already been carrying out repair work to the A659 Pool Road near Otley Motors, is planning further work in the area, heading towards East Busk Lane, during the next four to six weeks.
Work is also being scheduled to fill pot-holes on the section of Bradford Road between West Chevin Road and the A660 Ilkley Road, which the authority admits has “deteriora-ted” during the summer.
Councillor Ryk Downes (Lib Dem, Leeds North West) flagged up the problem with the council after it had been raised by a concerned motorist.
